Lake Perris State Recreation Area
Lake Perris State Recreation Area is one of the Inland Empire's most popular group destinations, covering 8,800 acres around a reservoir just minutes south of Moreno Valley via I-215 S. Groups come for the swimming beach at Perris Beach, boat launch ramps, fishing, kayaking, and the 8.4-mile Luiseño Loop hiking trail. Alessandro Island is accessible by paddleboat. Designated RV and oversized vehicle parking is available in the main day-use lot; buses enter through the main gate on Lake Perris Drive and pay at the entry kiosk.

March Field Air Museum
March Field Air Museum is one of the largest air museums on the West Coast, with more than 70 historic aircraft on outdoor and indoor display adjacent to active March Air Reserve Base. Highlights include a B-52 Stratofortress, SR-71 Blackbird, B-1 Lancer, and C-141 Starlifter, plus indoor exhibits spanning WWI through the present day. Admission runs $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $5 for children, with the museum open Monday through Sunday 9am to 4pm.

Box Springs Mountain Reserve
Box Springs Mountain Reserve (trailhead off Mesquite Ave and Box Springs Rd, Moreno Valley, CA 92557) is a 1,425-acre open space preserve managed by Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District, sitting right on the edge of Moreno Valley. The summit trail climbs to 2,548 feet with sweeping panoramic views of the Inland Empire, San Bernardino Mountains, and the city of Moreno Valley below. Trails range from easy walks to strenuous climbs through coastal sage scrub and chaparral.
Wildlife includes mule deer, coyotes, and golden eagles. There is no dedicated bus parking lot; buses drop passengers at the trailhead near Mesquite Ave and stage on nearby streets. No entry fee.

Moreno Valley Conference and Recreation Center
Moreno Valley Conference and Recreation Center is the city's premier event facility, accommodating up to 500 guests in the main conference hall with multiple breakout rooms and a full commercial kitchen available. The center hosts weddings, quinceañeras, corporate events, banquets, community meetings, and private celebrations year-round. Adjacent to Towngate Community Park, it's a natural gathering point for large group events in Moreno Valley.

Moreno Valley College
Moreno Valley College is a 100+ acre campus serving approximately 14,000 students as part of the Riverside Community College District. The campus hosts graduation ceremonies (typically May and June), athletic events at the on-site stadium, performing arts productions at the MAC (Moreno Valley Arts Center), and a wide range of community programs throughout the year. Buses use the main entrance off Lasselle St and drop passengers in the designated loading zone near the Student Services Building before proceeding to Lot A or Lot B.

Mission Inn Hotel and Spa
Mission Inn Hotel and Spa is a National Historic Landmark and one of Southern California's most iconic destinations, approximately 8 miles west of Moreno Valley via SR-60 W. Built in 1876, the hotel features 238 rooms and suites, four restaurants including Duane's Prime Steaks and Seafood, a full-service spa, and stunning event spaces. The annual Festival of Lights (mid-November through early January) draws more than 750,000 visitors and transforms downtown Riverside into one of the most spectacular holiday light displays in the country. Fox Performing Arts Center
Fox Performing Arts Center is a beautifully restored 1929 Spanish-Moorish theater in downtown Riverside with a capacity of approximately 1,700 seats, located about 8 miles west of Moreno Valley via SR-60 W. The Fox hosts Broadway touring productions, major concerts, comedy shows, and community performances throughout the year. Glen Helen Amphitheater
Glen Helen Amphitheater is one of the largest outdoor amphitheaters in the United States, with a capacity of 65,000 and a reputation for hosting some of the biggest music festivals in Southern California — including Knotfest, Aftershock, and Sick New World. Located approximately 30 miles northeast of Moreno Valley via I-215 N and I-15 N, the venue draws massive crowds that pack I-215 and I-15 for hours before and after major events. Parking lots open three to four hours before events; buses and oversized vehicles are directed to designated bus parking areas by staff upon arrival at Glen Helen Pkwy.
